To pay homage to an important part of local history. 1959 was a landmark year for our community, with the completion of the bridge that connects our community. At the time it was an engineering feat, being one of the longest 'pre-stressed' concrete bridges in the Southern Hemisphere.

Prior to its completion ferries and barges acted as transports across Wallis Lake for over 70 years.

We are proud to preserve this history both in our name and in our fit-out. 100% of the timber that you see was reclaimed from the original cottage from the same era that stood here prior.
